Selected models in our range carry EI 30 and EI 60 fire-resistance classifications, making them suitable for installation in fire-compartment walls. The fire-rated versions are tested and certified to European standards. SANLUK wall hatches are built around a special volumetric aluminium profile frame combined with a gypsum-fibre door panel. Aluminium provides structural rigidity and corrosion resistance without adding unnecessary weight, while the gypsum-fibre panel accepts any surface finish and contributes to the acoustic and fire performance of the assembly. All hardware — hinges and the push-to-open latch — is stainless steel for long-term durability.

SANLUK wall access hatches are compatible with drywall (plasterboard), timber-stud, and solid masonry constructions. The frame is fixed to the surrounding structure using standard anchor points, and the installation depth can be adjusted to suit different wall thicknesses.
